We are excited to announce that Cheerleading has started up again at St. Mary of the Hills School for students in grades 4 through 8. Cheerleading is an activity in which cheerleadersĀ cheer for their team as a form of encouragement. It can range from chanting slogans to dance routines. It can be performed to motivate sports teams, to entertain the audience, or for competition. Coach Lauren and Coach Casey, teachers from the ECC and former cheerleaders themselves, will be conducting cheerleading/dance classes on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 - 4:30 pm. Cheerleaders will perform on Spiritwear Days, at pep rallies, and at some of our basketball games.
