Principal's Updates - 2/12/21
Good afternoon. I sit here thinking that we have made it to February School Vacation Week with only a few interruptions to our teaching and learning. The incredible work of our dedicated teachers and staff have made this possible. They come to school happily everyday to serve your children because this work is so important. As Catholic School educators and leaders we have been recognized by Governor Charlie Baker and the Catholic Schools Foundation. I could not be more proud of our entire Archdiocese of Boston! Please take a moment and watch the links below.
Thank you for continuing to partner with us and offering emotional support. Your kind words of thanks go such a long way!
The Lenten season begins on Wednesday 2/17, Ash Wednesday. We won't be in person to receive ashes as a school community this year so I want to leave you with a quote from Pope Francis to think on as we enter this holy season.
"Fasting makes sense if it really chips away at our security and, as a consequence, benefits someone else, if it helps us cultivate the style of the good Samaritan, who bent down to his brother in need and took care of him." - Pope Francis
God Bless you all and enjoy a wonderful vacation week with your incredible children.
Mrs. Julie Marotta
