Principal's Updates - 5/31/19

Dear Families,

Excitement has been building all week! The Carnival is here! God is good. It looks like the weather will be wonderful all weekend. Please bring your family, friends, and neighbors. I am so proud to be able to showcase our school and community through this fun event!

Middle school students have finished their final exams. It is a difficult process to go through but such a great learning experience. Learning to prioritize and study is a skill that needs to be taught and we do a great job of that as a Middle School.

On Wednesday we proudly inducted 7 students into National Junior Honor Society. These students exhibit the qualities of Scholarship, Service, Leadership, Character, and Citizenship.

Wednesday afternoon the 2nd graders hosted their annual Publishing Party. They did such a great job writing and reading their collaborated book! I was very proud of them.

Yesterday the 3rd graders led us in liturgical celebration at Ascension Thursday Mass. They were very well prepared and did a wonderful job leading us in prayer and song.

Today the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders went to the Franklin Park Zoo. They had a terrific day learning about and experiencing first hand animals that they studied this year.

Enjoy this beautiful weekend with your amazing children!

God Bless,

Mrs. Julie Marotta
