Principal's Update - 3/29/19

Dear Families,

All sorts of wonderful learning and innovative thinking happening at school this week. I was lucky enough to be invited to the "2nd Grade OR" to watch our doctors perform Contraction Surgery. I was so proud of their skills and knowledge. Middle School students were busy doing scientific labs, working on their Cultural Night projects, solving complex math problems, and learning about the world. Our elementary students are continuing to make tremendous growth in their math and language arts skills through the creative teaching practices and the funding we have received through generous grants and donations.

Today I had the honor and privilege of attending the Boston Symphony Orchestra with the 4th graders and their teachers. We traveled in style and were dressed in our Sunday best and experienced live music in the oldest symphony hall in the country. I was beyond proud of our students. Many ushers asked what school we were from and complimented their behavior.

I find it hard to believe that next week is April! There are so many events coming up. Please check the calendar and emails for reminders.

As always, I hope that you all have a safe and restful weekend filled with lots of family time.

God Bless,

Mrs. Julie Marotta

Principal
