Good afternoon. It is so hard to believe that it's February. The weather has been so mild. The students have been enjoying playing outside during recess and Phys Ed.
This week was packed with so much learning. Students celebrated 100 days of school, worked on their Science Fair projects, researched and presented facts about famous people from the 1800's in the Wild West, increased their knowledge in geometry and math word problems, researched and wrote essays for contests, celebrated Chinese New Year, extracted DNA from strawberries, and so much more. During my tours for perspective families the comment I hear the most is home focused and engaged our students are.
Please continue to spread the word about our great school. Mrs. Hughes does such a wonderful job promoting us on social media but we need to continue to invite people to come for a visit. Every family that does signs up because they are so impressed with the rich academics and the incredibility welcoming students and staff. I am very proud to show us off! Remember you can take $300 off your tuition bill for anyone you refer that gets accepted and attends in the fall.
Next Thursday is Valentine's Day. Your children may wear something red and or pink that day. I will send a separate reminder next week.
I hope that you enjoy this weekend with your wonderful children!
Mrs. Julie Marotta
