I wish you all a very Happy, Healthy and Blessed New Year. It is so hard for me to believe that it's 2019! The year seems to be flying by.
Today we celebrated together at our school mass hosted by Grade 4. The students did a fantastic job leading us in prayer. I was very proud. Thank you Mrs. Joyce and Mr. Tyrrell for preparing them so well.
I have so much to be grateful for this year. We have received some generous donations to our Excellence Fund. This will help me in fulfilling our mission and helping to provide a Catholic education to our students. I have been fortunate to receive support from the Milton Public School system to support students who by law are entitled to Special Education services. Today I received 44 Chromebooks from the Randolph Public School system to enhance the educational experience of the teachers and students. I will continue working hard to secure the resources that our students have the right to deserve.
NWEA/MAPS testing begins next week. Please be sure to arrive on time in the morning. Students in Grades 2-8 will be assessed in Math, Language Arts, and Reading on three separate days. Our teachers and I use the data from these assessments to track student growth and to provide support as needed. I have attached the parent toolkit for you to look at https://www.nwea.org/parent-toolkit/.
Please mark your calendars for our annual Academic Night on Thursday, January 31st at 6 pm. The students are working very hard on research projects that they want to share with you. Please consider bringing a prospective family with you. As in the past any family that you refer who enrolls will benefit you with a $300 discount on your tuition bill.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us. As always, I hope that you all have a safe and restful weekend filled with lots of family time.
Mrs. Julie Marotta
