Happy Thanksgiving! I am truly blessed and thankful for each and every one of our incredible students. I look forward to coming to work each and every day! We ended today with a beautiful Thanksgiving Prayer Service. Prior to the service I recognized our Middle School scholars who earned Honor Roll and High Honor Roll. I also took the time to tell the students that this is not the only important label. Some of us have gifts that can't be graded, some of us aren't good test takers or good at studying. If every student could look in the mirror and say "I did my best". That is enough! If they can't say that then there is work to do. I also showed the students a video so that they could self reflect on what is truly important in life. I hope they share it with you.
I want to take the time to let you know how grateful I am for all of your support, encouragement, and kind words and I want to use this time to publicly thank the following people:
My amazing and talented staff of teachers who create and present inspiring and innovative lessons.
My incredible office staff who keep our school running smoothly.
The lunch program coordinators and their volunteers who make sure that your children receive a hot lunch Monday-Thursday.
The Catholic School Foundation for helping us to help finance your child's education.
Our new hardworking school nurse, Mrs. Tara Carvahlo. She's is such a terrific resource for all of us.
Mr. Martinez and Pedro for keeping our school clean and organized.
My amazing specialist teachers who help us enrich your child's education.
Most of all I want to thank you for sharing your children with us and entrusting us to give him or her an amazingly well rounded education. I know it is a sacrifice to provide a Catholic education but so well worth the investment.
As always, I hope that you all have a safe and restful weekend filled with lots of family time and I wish all of you a Blessed Thanksgiving.
Mrs. Julie Marotta
