On November 1, 2018, Andrew Charles-Prophete came to school with a large bag of candy. After a long night of trick-or-treating, Andrew set aside half of his candy for a special purpose. Years ago, Andrew had donated spare candy to an organization that collects and distributes food for troops overseas. This Halloween, Andrew made sure to save a special treat for men and women in our military. When Andrew brought his generous donation to school, our principal, Julie Marotta, was grateful and impressed. Following Andrews lead, Mrs. Marotta has asked our entire school community to contribute any extra candy. Thanks to Andrew, Mrs. Marotta, and our students, we have now amassed several ample boxes of donations.
