Principal's Update - 4/13/18
This week was packed with so many meaningful activities. I was so proud of the Middle School student's Spring Musical production of Into the Woods. We have such a talented group of students. Thank you to Mrs. Etienne, Mrs. Norton, Mrs. Vasta, and Mr. Faherty for all of your hard work on this.
Tuesday night the 6th Graders performed at the 9th annual Poetry Jam. Each student recited an original poem and one that they researched. I was very proud of all of them. Thank you to Mrs. Norton for teaching the students and preparing them for this memorable night.
Every week as I give perspective families tours of our school I am so proud of how impressed people are with the quality of the education, the quiet classrooms, and the work that is displayed. Our students greet these visitors with enthusiasm and respect.
The Middle School students have been working so hard on their upcoming Science fair. It will be held on Tuesday April 24th in the school hall.
Many of the 8th Graders and their teachers have been experiencing all of the sights and history of Washington, DC. The weather has been perfect and the cherry blossoms are in bloom. I can't wait to hear all about it!
Please make sure to mark your calendars for the next social events that the PTO is organizing. On Friday April 27th eat lunch, dinner or order takeout from Pizzeria Uno. Proceeds from this event directly benefit our students. May 19th is our Gala. We will be celebrating the school's 60th anniversary and Fr. Wright's retirement.
I hope that you all enjoy a relaxing and fun filled vacation with your beautiful families.
Mrs. Julie Marotta
