First of all thank you for all of the support shown to me and my family during this very difficult time. The flowers you sent to the funeral home, the Mass cards, notes, and hugs really reinforced what I already knew. St Mary of the Hills School Community is by far the most nurturing and spiritual place to learn and work. I am truly blessed to be a part of this experience with all of you and your incredible children.
I also need to apologize for any inconvenience that the early dismissal may have caused you this past Wednesday. Based on the weather forecasted, I thought that it would be best to make sure that all students and staff got home safely. We have many families that commute great distances from towns surrounding Milton. Thank you for understanding. Hopefully that is the last winter storm predicted for this school year!
Your children continue to be challenged academically every day. It's is so exciting to see how far they have progressed since September. Please stop by for a visit and see the great work displayed in and out of the classrooms. I am proud of their hard work and the dedication of our teachers.
I heard that the Sweetheart Dance was wonderful. I am so sorry to have missed it but I enjoyed seeing all the wonderful pictures. These social events are so important. It is what builds community. Thank you to all of the parents and staff who made this event happen.
Speaking of social events, I hope that you have marked your calendars for May 19th for our annual Gala. There will be lots of ways to help make this event successful. Watch for more information to come from the PTO.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful children with us. As always, I hope that you all have a safe and restful weekend filled with lots of family time.
Mrs. Julie Marotta
