Who wants to see me with Blue Hair? If the PTO reaches their fundraising goal on Saturday it will happen on Monday! If you haven't already registered for Saturday's Color Fun Run you can still participate. Registration is at 2:30 at the school. It is going to be a great day weather wise and a fun community building event. Hope to see you there!
Sunday through Wednesday I spent time on a NEASC Visiting Committee at t James School in Biddeford, Maine. I enjoyed meeting so many wonderful students, teachers, and families. I took away some great professional development that will help me with our re- accreditation in 2022.
Congratulations to Mairead O'Brien and Tavia Augustin for earning Honorable mention in Milton's Annual Monster Dash Poster Contest. Well done girls. You made us all very proud.
At St Mary of the Hills we embrace helping others. This week we raised a significant amount of money for two important causes. Thank you to Claire MacDonald for organizing the Breast Cancer fundraiser. Proceeds were sent to Dana Farber cancer Institute for research. Thank you to the Hicks Family for helping us organize today's fundraiser for the victims of the hurricane in Puerto Rico.
I want to share with you that Mrs. Hulme in PreK will be honored at a special event at Roxbury Latin School. Her former student, Alejandro Denis invited her to Roxbury Latin School Teacher Appreciation Reception. To quote Alejandro, "you started me off...and inspired a love of reading and literature. ...you have always shown me great love and support that has brought me to where I am today." Congratulations Mrs. Hulme!
I hope that you all have a safe and restful weekend filled with lots of family time.
