Principal's Update - 11/17/17
I hope that you all had a positive experience at your Parent/Teacher Conferences. As you know educating your child is a responsibility that we all take very seriously and we want the best for all of our students. It is so important that we help them reach their God given potential. We cannot do this alone. Partnering with you is what makes all the difference. When your child sees that we are all in this together, it makes a huge difference. I encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher/teachers if you have any questions or concerns.
Today the 4th and 5th graders had the great opportunity to learn some incredible science concepts from our friends at Curry College. Student teachers created inquiry based lessons and our students were very engaged.
Tonight is our Turkey Shoot. All proceeds go towards supporting the CYO Basketball program. Please come and support Mr. A and the players.
Keep selling those raffle tickets. The drawing date has been extended until 11/27 in order to hopefully sell more over the Thanksgiving weekend.
I cannot believe that Thanksgiving is next week! Where has the time gone? We will be dismissing on Tuesday at 3 pm at the conclusion of our Thanksgiving/Honor Roll ceremony.
I want to take the time to let you know how grateful I am for all of your support, encouragement, and kind words and I want to use this time to publicly thank the following people:
My amazing and talented staff of teachers who create and present inspiring and innovative lessons.
My incredible office staff who keep our school running smoothly.
The PTO for enriching our school with community activities and fundraising.
The Catholic School Foundation for helping us to help finance your child's education.
Our lunch volunteers. Without you our students would not enjoy a hot lunch.
Our hardworking school nurse. She's is such a terrific resource for all of us.
Mr. Martinez and Mr. Braga for keeping our school clean and organized.
My amazing specialist teachers who help us enrich your child's education.
Most of all I want to thank you for sharing your children with us and entrusting us to give him or her an amazingly well rounded education. I know it is a sacrifice to provide a Catholic education but so well worth the investment.
As always, I hope that you all have a safe and restful weekend filled with lots of family time and I wish all of you a Blessed Thanksgiving.
Mrs. Julie Marotta
