We ended our week today with a beautiful liturgy led by our 7th Graders. I was so proud of all of them and I thank Ms. Veitz, Mr. Faherty, and Mrs. Vasta for preparing them so well.
I hope that most of you have registered for the Color Fun Run! I know that I am really looking forward to it! Don't forget the first class that reaches 100% registration will get a prize from me!
This week students were studying rocks and minerals, tackling complicated math problems, converting measurements, hypothesizing, writing First Friday letters, writing scary stories, talking about respect, and growing in their faith through Religion classes.
Students in Grades 5-8 started Drama after school this week. They will be performing a Christmas show on Thursday, December 14th. Odyssey of the Mind has been meeting for the past couple of weeks too. I also know that 5th and 6th grade basketball tryouts are next week.
Please take some time and ask your students to tell you about all the great things they are doing in school. They are definitely experiencing a rigorous academic program in a safe and nurturing way and lots of opportunities for social development.
I hope that you all have a safe and restful weekend filled with lots of family time.
