It was so nice to see so many of you at Back to School Night on Monday. I hope that you enjoyed meeting the teachers and learning about your child's education.
This week I was able to see so much great learning in the classrooms. Students are studying about onion growth, building bridges, testing hypotheses, writing friendly letters, learning new prayers, reading, tackling word problems and multiplication facts. Along with the rigors of academics students have also been talking about ways to respect themselves, each other, and our world. I could not be more proud.
We are wrapping up NWEA/MAPS testing as instructed by the Archdiocese of Boston. Here is the link to their website. https://www.nwea.org/parent-toolkit/ . The students have done a wonderful job and we are excited to work with the data these assessments provide..
I hope to see you Sunday at the 8th Grade Car
Wash. It will be from 11-2 in the back parking lot of the school. It is supposed to be a beautiful day!
Make sure you fill out the October lunch menu and send in your payments. The PTO has done a wonderful job of bringing delicious menu items to enhance the program.
Please continue to be respectful of our neighbors on Brook and Ridge Roads. Do not block their driveways at pickup or dismissal. Thank you for your cooperation.
I hope that you all have a safe and restful weekend filled with lots of family time.
