Principal's Update 1/27/17
What a terrific week! I am so proud that our school participated in the Great kindness Challenge. This year's project was Coins for Pakistan. The project is to teach global awareness and kindness and all proceeds will go towards building a school in Pakistan. Students in Preschool through Grade 8 collected pocket change, sold bagels, Hershey kisses, and pencils. Parents and family members also generously contributed to the effort. Once the total is tallied I will be sending a check to the organization on behalf of our community. What an incredible way for the students to have an impact on others. It is truly inspiring to be a part of something like this. Check out their website http://thegreatkindnesschallenge.com/
I hope to see many of you tonight at the LUAU! It starts at 5:45 and ends at 8:00. The PTO has worked very hard to make this a fun community event. I will be pulling the calendar raffle winners towards the end of the evening.
Next week is Catholic Schools week. We have many great events planned. Please refer to the other email I sent. It should be a fun week for all celebrating the great work and importance of Catholic education! On Thursday night 2/2 we are holding our Academic Night/Open House. I hope to see many of you as the students are excited to show you how they use STREAM to "Think Outside The Box." If you bring a perspective family your name will do into a drawing for a prize!
