Principal's Welcome Letter

“Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless. ” Mother Teresa

Dear Parents and Students,

I cannot believe that summer is almost over. I am so excited to be your new principal. I have been working hard all summer and I am eager and energized to lead St Mary of the Hills School. We have accomplished great things and continue to be a leading school in the Archdiocese of Boston. None of this could have happened without the entire community’s support, dedication, and confidence in the school’s faculty and initiatives.

As I look forward to the 20162017 school year I do so with hope for a strong school year providing excellent academics and innovative initiatives to all of our students. As a team I know this is possible since educating your child is a school, parish, and family commitment. These are incredible times in education with advances in technology. At St. Mary of the Hills we embrace those opportunities in order to prepare our students for the rigors of higher education and beyond.

St. Mary of the Hills is dedicated to building a safe, compassionate community of lifelong learners who are inspired every day to be respectful, responsible, kind, cooperative, innovative, and productive citizens. I am honored to work alongside each and every one of you to assure that this happens. St. Mary of the Hills has high expectations for all students and will provide quality instruction while assisting every student in reaching their full potential.

I welcome you to the 20162017 school year and I am looking forward to building a strong relationship with the children and families of St Mary of the Hills.

God Bless, Mrs. Julie Marotta Principal
