“Use Me God. Show Me How To Take Who I Am, Who I Want To Be And What I Can Do, And Use It For A Purpose Greater Than Myself” ~Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

Dear Parents and Guardians:

It's hard to believe that we have finished our second week of school. Grades K-3 finished MAPS testing and Grades -8 will finish next week. We are very proud of how well our students have settled into their new routines and have come to school prepared and ready to learn. Very soon we will be sharing with you the afterschool enrichment activities we have planned for our students this year.

Music Lessons

Paul Effman Music gave a presentation to our school on Tuesday. All students in grades 1-8th are eligible to take music lessons. A packet was sent home explaining all of the information regarding days, times, and pricing.

In addition, Piano Playtime offers small group keyboarding classes to our students in grades Preschool-8th.

Back to School Night

Back to School Night will be next Tuesday, September 20th from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. All parents and guardians are asked to meet in the school cafeteria. We hope to see all parents and guardians in attendance. Many important topics will be discussed.

School Improvements

Thank you to all of our parents and staff for their patience with the construction that has been taking place at our school. Both roofs in the main building and ECC have been replaced, and the work is almost complete. The installation of our brand new playground for the ECC will begin next week. Materials will be delivered on Friday, September 16th.

I wish you and your family a wonderful weekend. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, you can reach me by phone, email or come in to see me at school.

Mrs. Suzanne Banach
