Haitian Princess

Dear Parents/Guardians:

We are so blessed! What a wonderful week we had here at school. We began on Monday with a puppet show for Grades Early Learners to Grade 5. The children really enjoyed it. Thank you to Milton Cultural Grants Committee for funding this event.

Wednesday we celebrated Haitian Flag Day. It was so amazing to see everyone in red, white, and blue. Some of the classes learned about the culture in Haiti. We totally embrace celebrating the rich diversity here at St Mary's.

We ended today with a Talent Show. It was the 1st time since 2020 that all students in K-8 assembled in the school hall. I will never forget the feeling I had seeing all the beautiful faces of the students and the families of the performers. Thank you Ms. O'Leary for organizing this great event. We all enjoyed it. Also, congratulations to all the performers. You were EXCELLENT!!

During all of this time the students are learning and growing in their studies. I could not be more proud of each and everyone of the students and the staff. It's scary to think that we only have 4 weeks left in the school year. There is still so much to do!

I hope that you are able to stay cool this weekend enjoying time with your beautiful children!

God Bless you.
