Halloween

Dear Parents/Guardians:

It is so hard to believe that Monday is the 1st day of November! Time flies when you are as busy as we are here. The students are thriving and being so good about the mask wearing indoors. It has allowed us to have more normalcy in our school day. The week started out with our PTO event, Trunk or Treat. Today's Halloween Parade was another example. The students were so happy!

We have younger students collaborating with the older students through Reading Buddies. They are building bonds with each other that could not happen last year. I cannot thank you enough for your continued cooperation with our Health Department. Keeping your child home at the 1st sign of illness has made such a difference.

This week I was able to witness so much great work being done as I visited classrooms. Students are learning how to write narrative essays, converting fractions to decimals, group projects in History, Spanish, and Language Arts, students presenting research projects to their classmates, and so much more.

I continue to be proud of all of the hard work and dedication of my staff. Keep spreading the word about us. Like and share any posts you see on social media. Also, consider dropping me an email with a quote about your experience that I can use on our website.

I hope that you are able to enjoy this Halloween weekend with your wonderful families.

God Bless you.

Mrs. Julie Marotta
