Art Project

Dear Parents/Guardians:

What a busy week we have had here at St Mary of the Hills! The students have been working hard everyday on organization skills, positive mindsets, preparing for student council elections, painting, playing outside, building their faith, hypothesizing, and inspiring me to all that is possible and positive in our young people. They are resilient, kind, compassionate, helpful to one another, and grateful for the opportunities that they have been given.

The joy and laughter on our campus fill me with such joy and pride in all that we have accomplished as a school community. It is the definition of Ubuntu. "I am because you are." No one can live their life without the support of others. I feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such a great team. Their passion is truly awe inspiring.

For those of you who attended the Blessing of the Animals, thank you. Those who sent in pictures with your children please know that this was such a beautiful service. We are grateful to Fr Bennett for offering to celebrate and bless our pets. I'm not sure about you but without my dog Fletcher the pandemic and isolation were more tolerable because of his companionship.

I hope that you are able to enjoy this beautiful long Fall weekend with your wonderful families.

God Bless you.

Mrs. Julie Marotta
