Kinder Games

Dear Parents/Guardians:

As we enter the Fall season I am reminded that as the seasons change so do we. Our lives are like the seasons we enter the beauty of spring and rebirth after the long cold winters only to then face the hot, muggy summer, then before you know it we are met with beautiful crisp, colorful, cloudless days where everything seems possible. We can even enjoy the beauty in death as the leaves fall to the ground. As I sit here and reflect over the last year I can see how we have all changed and grown. It certainly hasn't been easy and we have further to go but with God's help we will all come out stronger and better than before.

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for following all of our safety protocols and taking the necessary precautions at home to ensure the safety of all of us. I would not be telling you the truth if I said wearing a mask all day is easy, it's not but I do it not only to protect myself but everyone I come in contact with. When I see the sacrifices some families deal with on a day to day basis to me this is a small sacrifice to pay. Some say that masks don't stop the spread but I am not a scientist. Maybe in 10 years we will learn if they were effective or not. In the meantime I want to be a model for doing what's in the best interest of all of us.

It was so rewarding celebrating Mass together today hosted by Grade 7. My heart was so happy to be able to share this with our students, family members and faculty.

God Bless you and have a fantastic weekend with you wonderful children.

Mrs. Julie Marotta
