Dear Parents/Guardians:

Thank you to all of you who attended our Back to School Night this past week. My heart was filled with joy to see you enter our beautiful school. It is so important for you to see the space where your child spends his or her day. I really appreciate the fact that everyone followed the safety protocols. It means so much to all of us as we continue to battle this virus and keep everyone safe and healthy.

A huge thank you to Leah, Tavia, and Nate for organizing the donation drive for the victims of the Earthquake in Haiti. What generosity from our community. The students were overjoyed with the outpouring of love and support for our brothers and sisters who have lost so much. Leah's aunt will be picking everything up today and shipping it for us. This type of service to others is what we pride ourselves in instilling in our scholars. UBUNTU!

Today we started our day in prayer at our 1st monthly Prayer Service. What a wonderful way to start the day connecting with God and developing strong bonds with each other. This afternoon's Professional Development is on Self Care for the staff. I recognize that we have all been through a lot these past 18 months and taking care of ourselves mentally and physically is vital when we are called to serve others. What we learn today will not only benefit us but the skills we learn will be very useful in the classrooms helping our students, your children, navigate this stressful time.

Please keep us all in your prayers as we embark on this journey of faith as we continue to make a difference in the lives of so many.

God Bless you and have a fantastic weekend with you wonderful children.
