Dear Parents/Guardians:

I want to thank God for the gift of your child/ren. Their joy of learning and being together is infectious. Getting into the routines has been the focus of this week and the students are doing so well. New teachers and new classmates can always bring on some anxiety. If you need anything to support these transitions please reach out. I would be happy to help.

As I write this letter to you, I just returned from our Opening Mass hosted by Grade 8. It was so wonderful to all celebrate this milestone in person with the entire K-8 school community. I pray to God that our students and staff stay healthy and that we are able to do this every month. It is so important to receive the Body of Christ. To me it is such a healing experience and such an honor. Please know that if you or your child would like to receive the Sacraments I can coordinate that with the Church for you. It's never too late.

I want to leave you with this prayer that I recited this morning to the community for the Remembrance of 9/11. I can still remember where I was the day that this act of terror occurred. We should never forget the brave people who lost their lives on this day 20 years ago.

Prayer for 9/11

God Bless you and please enjoy the beautiful weekend with your wonderful children.
