School Rules and Policies

It is extremely important that you take the time to read and study the school rules with your student. There are many new changes for the 2019-20 school year. You are required to review the Discipline Policy and return the last page with your signature. Any questions can be directed to our principal, Mrs. Marotta.  Students and parents are required to review the Student Handbook.  Students and parents also need to sign and return the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) at the beginning of each school year.  Thank you for your cooperation and support of our school rules!

Parent Portal

St. Mary of the Hills School prides itself on having open lines of communication to ensure that parents are well informed about school life.  Parents can access daily homework assignments, school calendar, progress reports through our secure, online parent portal. 

Lands' End is the exclusive provider of uniforms for the students at 
St. Mary of the Hills School.  Students are required to be in proper uniform at all times. Uniforms may be purchased online, over the phone, or in local Sears stores.

Media Consent
In order to provide pictures of our minors on any media platform, we request parental consent to ensure the safety of our children. Pictures and videos are taken throughout the year by our Director of Media Relations, Miss Sinnott. We use these pictures to share the events that take place in the school with families at home by making them available online through our website and social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Flickr and Youtube. We also send weekly press releases to the local newspapers. Please make sure you return this Media Consent Form to the office. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and laws, regulations and emergency declarations and orders resulting therefrom, there is a necessity to provide alternative forms of learning such as remote learning, virtual classrooms, livestreaming, online, e-learning and other various substitutes for on site, in-person learning in order to provide the best possible education and educational setting so that students may thrive, succeed and effectively learn at the School.  Parent/guardian of the child or children need to agree and sign for the following:
 Record and or transmit mine and my child(ren)’s participation, appearance, and likeness, including on, but not limited to, digital or film photography, videotape, audiotape, livestreaming, virtual classroom, or any other form, medium or manner known now or hereafter known (collectively, the “Recordings”); and
 Use the Recordings, including my child(ren)’s participation therein, for educational purposes related to classroom instruction and the furtherance of the education of the students at the School.
