Dear St. Mary of the Hills Families: The theme for Catholic Schools Week this year was 'Catholic Schools: Living in Harmony with God's Creation'. This year's theme asks us to think about how we live our lives. We are all part of God's creation. How we treat others, the world around us and how we look at ourselves, these are the ways we can live in harmony with God's creation. The week was filled with so many moments. Monday we appreciated our students with extra recess, raffles, and no homework. On Tuesday the PTO appreciated our staff by providing the most amazing luncheon. There were homemade meals, desserts, flowers, gift cards, and time to eat together. This was such a treat for the staf

Dear St. Mary of the Hills Families: Teachers and students have been hard at work preparing for Academic Night which will be next Thursday at 6 pm. Students will be sharing their research projects on various topics connected to their curriculum. It is also Open House for prospective families. Please help spread the word about our great school. I hope to see many of you there! Families of Middle School CYO basketball players please know that the game at Pope John Paul has been moved to 8 pm and there will be no homework that evening. Dear St. Mary of the Hills Families, Good afternoon everyone! It finally feels like winter in New England! Please make sure you bundle up your children because we will get outside as much as we can. I have been very impressed with our students and their diligence on the Winter NWEA/MAPS tests. Many have shown tremendous growth in so many areas thanks to their hard work and their teachers commitment to excellence! Next week I will be sending out the calendar for Catholic Schools Week. There will be 2 Open Houses. One on Wednesday, January 29th from 9:30-11 and the other during Academic Night on Thursday, January 30th from 6-7:30 pm. Principal's Updates - 1/10/2020

Dear St. Mary of the Hills Families, Happy New Year to all of you! We are back in full swing after almost 2 weeks of vacation. Our students and their teachers have been working hard everyday and the results of the Middle School MAPS/NWEA testing are showing steady growth in Reading and Mathematics. English Language Arts will be tested next week for them and Grades 2-5 will be tested Tuesday through Friday. Please make sure your children have a good night's sleep, eat breakfast, and be on time each day. The PTO has been working very hard to creative fun family events.
