Today is Service day during Catholic Schools week. We got to make Thank You cards for our local Firefighters. We started the day by watching a short clip about what Firefighters do for us. We then talked about some things we learned about Firefighters. After our discussion, we created Thank you cards and each child got to say why they were thankful for our Firefighters!!!

The Prekindergartners created Thank You cards for our police officers. During this activity, they each came up with what they wanted to say. Then they wrote down their saying and drew a picture on their card.

Principal's Update - 1/25/19

Dear Families, Good afternoon everyone. What a week! Once again I apologize for having to close school on Tuesday. In the future we will be sending texts and phone calls in addition to the emails. Even though the school grounds had been previously treated a layer of ice formed that could not be successfully treated in time for arrival. The timing was unfortunate as Milton Public Schools had decided to open. In case of school closing we follow the Milton Public Schools but measures are now in place to do a separate closing of our campus. Once again I cannot express how sorry I am for the inconvenience that this may have caused many of you. Middle school students are finishing their NWEA/MAPS

Principal's Update - 1/18/19

Dear Families, Good afternoon everyone. I hope that you are all enjoying the calm before the storm. As this winter storm approaches please remember to take care and travel safely if you have to be out. Remember that in case of school closing we follow the Milton Public Schools. If they're cancelled so is St. Mary of the Hills. Word continues to spread about our great school. Almost every day I am giving tours and testing new students for entrance now and next fall. Please continue to help market us by visiting our website and giving us a review. It would be appreciated so much. I have been fortunate to receive support from the Milton Public School system to support students who by law are en

We are participating in the “Iron Giraffe Challenge”. This challenge is part of the Water for South Sudan initiative and a direct challenge from the young man from the book, Salva Dut. Our hope is to raise $3000.00 to restore a well in South Sudan. Families and friends can donate to our webpage: https://www.classy.org/team/190922?is_new=true. We are very excited about our fundraising efforts and the theme of service that our students are putting into action through this endeavor. Please help us with our service project.

Principal's Update - 1/11/19

Dear Families, I hope that you are all enjoying this very chilly day. Now that the frigid temps are here I want to remind you to dress your children for the outdoor weather. If temperatures are above freezing we will be having outdoor recess. Getting fresh air is important and I want to make sure the students are comfortable. Of course this comes with another dilemma and that is the Lost and Found. I have many articles of clothing that students have left behind. If your missing something please come in and check what we have. This past week the 2nd through 5th graders took their Winter NWEA/MAPS assessments. I was very pleased that a majority of the students showed tremendous growth. The tea

Principal's Update - 1/4/19

Dear Families, I wish you all a very Happy, Healthy and Blessed New Year. It is so hard for me to believe that it's 2019! The year seems to be flying by. Today we celebrated together at our school mass hosted by Grade 4. The students did a fantastic job leading us in prayer. I was very proud. Thank you Mrs. Joyce and Mr. Tyrrell for preparing them so well. I have so much to be grateful for this year. We have received some generous donations to our Excellence Fund. This will help me in fulfilling our mission and helping to provide a Catholic education to our students. I have been fortunate to receive support from the Milton Public School system to support students who by law are entitled to S
