Principal's Update - 5/25/18

Dear Families, First of all let me send a sincere thank you to the PTO for a fantastic night of food, friendship, dancing, and fun. It was also bittersweet as we celebrated the retirement of our beloved Pastor Father Wright. For the past 16 years Father Wright has been a huge supporter of St Mary of the Hills School. He loves the students and faculty and the feeling is mutual. He will be missed. His last official day is May 31st but he will be celebrating 8th grade graduation and the end of school mass on June 15th. Principal's Update - 5/18/18

Dear Families, I am looking forward to seeing many of you at the Gala tomorrow night. The PTO has worked so hard to create an evening of fun and friendship. Principal's Update - 5/11/18

Dear Families, I am so proud of our entire school community for all f the generous contributions to the food pantry at Catholic Charities of Greater Boston. I know you know what I am going to say but I truly believe that together we can make such a difference! This organization serves so many needy families and our contributions were able to fill more than 100 bags for distribution. We have so much to be proud of. The 5th Graders, their teachers, Mrs. Norton, Mrs. Deabler, and alum Thalia Etienne enjoyed a beautiful day in Boston this past week. They were able to take a Duck Tour free of charge thanks to 5th Grader Fiona Deabler and our generous PTO. Last Friday the 1st and 2nd graders enjoy

Principal's Update - 5/4/18

Dear Families, I am back for a very spiritual retreat where I was given the peace and quiet to pray and reflect on my 2 years as principal of St Mary of the Hills. There is no doubt that the task is daunting, the responsibilities are great, the hours are long, and I wear many hats but I know that this is where God wants me to be at this time in my life. Every decision I make, every conversation I have, any changes that I put into place are all because I truly believe in our Mission. If the students benefit from the work I do then I know I am doing the job as well as I can. I am by nature a very humble person so please know that I depend on my great staff, my fellow principals, the Catholic S
