Principal's Update - 4/27/18

Dear Families, So much to be thankful for this week! The Middle school students participated in the school's annual Science Fair on Tuesday. The winning students went on to compete in the Regional completion on Wednesday night and I am proud to say that our own 8th grader Claire MacDonald tied for 3rd place! Well done Claire! Thank you to Mrs. Etienne and Miss Veitz for preparing our students so well. Thursday morning Mr. Healy for the Boston Duck Tours came by to award 2 of our students with awards for their essay submissions. John Elson Hicks in Grade 6 was honored as winning 2nd place. Principal's Update - 4/13/18

Dear Families, This week was packed with so many meaningful activities. I was so proud of the Middle School student's Spring Musical production of Into the Woods. We have such a talented group of students. Thank you to Mrs. Etienne, Mrs. Norton, Mrs. Vasta, and Mr. Faherty for all of your hard work on this. Tuesday night the 6th Graders performed at the 9th annual Poetry Jam. Each student recited an original poem and one that they researched. I was very proud of all of them. Thank you to Mrs. Norton for teaching the students and preparing them for this memorable night. Dear Families, As I am writing this to you I am looking out at the newly fallen snow. Being National Poetry Month it inspired me to research a poem about this fickle weather. It's by Ilene Bauer. Enjoy. Crazy Snow This morning there was crazy snow And Spring was someplace hiding, But now the sun is out as though Ma Nature is deciding. Just make your mind up!
