Principal's Update - 1/26/18

Dear Families, Today we had a practice lock down drill. The students did a wonderful job. This one the faculty knew about, the next one will be a surprise drill. In these times I don't want to frighten the children but I want them to be prepared and know that the adults in charge will protect them. Big shout out to Mr. Malone, dad to Nolan in Kindergarten. He stayed one cold morning this past week to help another parent who had car trouble. Mr. Malone, you set such a great example for all of us with your unselfish gesture. Big shout out to Lilianna Hulme and Zion Grant for organizing the fundraiser for the Dana Farber Cancer Center! I am extremely proud of these 2 young ladies for their commitment to paying it fo

I have been a part of many schools in my career and I have to say that St May of the Hills is so special. There is a sense of community here that you feel when you walk in the door. All of that is because of the tremendous dedication of all of our staff members and the support of all of the wonderful families. As we begin this most holy Christmas Season we leave with a very special gift from the Early Childhood Center. The annual Christmas pageant was incredible. I am so proud of the dedication of the teache
