Principal's Update - 12/15/17

Dear Families, First of all I apologize for not being visible at dismissal this week. I am dealing with a family emergency and needed to be at the hospital each afternoon. Thank you for understanding. Once again we have had an extremely productive week here. I have received such wonderful compliments on our annual Christmas concert. The student's performances were so joyful. This really adds to the spirit of the holiday season. Thank you to Miss Cronan for preparing the singers and thank you to our band instructors too. Dear Families, Happy Advent! There are many exciting events coming in the next few weeks. Keep yourself informed by reading all emails. Please know that everyone is invited to all of these great celebrations. Once again we have had an extremely productive week here. Everyone is working hard to get as much learning done before the Christmas Break. In addition to academics students are busy spreading joy to the homeless, sick children who are hospitalized and homebound parishioners by creating beautiful cards and letters. Dear Families, When I woke up this morning I had a hard time believing that it was December 1st. I don't know about you but I feel that the school year is flying by! December promises to be a very busy month. Please check your email communication often and see the school calendar for some of our traditional celebrations. This Sunday December 3rd is the beginning of the Church's liturgical year, Advent (from, "ad-venire" in Latin or "to come to") is the season encompassing the four Sundays (and weekdays) leading up to the celebration of Christmas.
