Principal's Update - 11/17/17

Dear Families, I hope that you all had a positive experience at your Parent/Teacher Conferences. As you know educating your child is a responsibility that we all take very seriously and we want the best for all of our students. It is so important that we help them reach their God given potential. We cannot do this alone. Partnering with you is what makes all the difference. When your child sees that we are all in this together, it makes a huge difference. I encourage you to reach out to your child's teacher/teachers if you have any questions or concerns. Today the 4th and 5th graders had the great opportunity to learn some incredible science concepts from our friends at Curry College. Studen

Principal's Update - 11/9/17

Dear Families, Happy Grandparent's day and Happy Veteran's Day to those in our community who are lucky enough to be grandparents and brave enough to serve our country. Today was a very special day here as we had our annual assembly to recognize those special people in our community. The students sang beautifully, the 8th graders who spoke were well prepared and said such kind words, our Keynote speaker, Mr. James Holland gave a wonderful message to all of us on the importance of thanking veterans. I want to thank Ms. Cronan for preparing the students, Mr. Chiavaroli for creating the video tribute, and the PTO for creating such a welcoming reception. We ended our day today with an assembly on

Principal's Update - 11/3/17

Dear Families, As I sit and type this memo I reflect on the many blessings I have as the leader of St Mary of the Hills. We are so lucky to be a part of a learning community where everyone is accepted for who they are. I see children supporting each other daily. I also see them get into disagreements and learning to work out their differences in a peaceful way while respecting each other. It isn't always easy but the end result is rewarding. Our students are being prepared for the future not only academically but also socially. Incorporating Catholic teachings in our daily lessons helps reinforce the values that you are instilling in your children at home. We had a fun day here on Halloween
