Principal's Update - 9/22/17

Dear Families, It was so nice to see so many of you at Back to School Night on Monday. I hope that you enjoyed meeting the teachers and learning about your child's education. This week I was able to see so much great learning in the classrooms. Students are studying about onion growth, building bridges, testing hypotheses, writing friendly letters, learning new prayers, reading, tackling word problems and multiplication facts. Along with the rigors of academics students have also been talking about ways to respect themselves, each other, and our world. I could not be more proud. Principal's Update - 9/15/17

Dear Families, Wow! What a wonderful week! The students have really settled into their routines. They are engaged and focused in their classes. I am incredibly grateful to the talented staff, supportive parents, and your amazing children. Grades 1-8 ended their week with a Fantastic Fun Friday with Mr. A. We have such gifted runners. Look out US Olympics! Even though it was hot out the students had a great time! I received a phone call from one of our neighbors. Twice this week he was unable to pull into his driveway at our dismissal time because a car was blocking his access. Please be respectful of our neighbors. Principal's Update - 9/8/17

Dear Families, We had our 1st full week of the school year. Partnering with you in educating your child is a responsibility that we take seriously. We hope that the beginning of this year has met or exceeded your expectations. This week I was lucky enough to spend time in so many classrooms seeing all of the great learning that is taking place. Students are engaged in so many ways from hands on science, classroom debates and discussions, learning about their world, tackling rigorous math problems, learning about God, being physically active, singing, creating, and being respect to one another.
