St. Mary of the Hills School Immerses Students in STREAM Curriculum

A goal for the 2016-2017 school year for St. Mary of the Hills School in Milton is to fully immerse students in a STREAM curriculum. An expansion of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) guidelines, STREAM adds religion and the arts to be a heavy focus in the day to day lesson plans. STREAM allows teachers to create common themes between each subject in creative and innovative ways. This week, Mrs. Etienne's 5th and 6th grade class combined science and engineering in their annual "Trash Art" project.
