He is a very caring and compassionate person. He is a leader and a positive example for the other students. He leads by example both in and out of the classroom. For example, at snack recess he is always picking up the trash and keeping our school yard clean. He is well respected by his peers and teachers. (Grade 1 student)

The Prayer of St. Francis begins with “Lord, make me an instrument of your peace…” This student exemplifies this special quality every day. She quietly comes in each morning, gets settled and stays focused and attentive (Grade 2 student)

She has a gentle and kind spirit. She is the type of student who is more concerned for her peers and their happiness than her own. She is an excellent student, but is always humble about her accomplishments. She is constantly respectful of all faulty members, staff and students in our school. She lives her faith daily with fairness and forgiveness in her heart. She consistently exemplifies the wonderful qualities that are attributed to St. Francis of Assisi.
